Graduation Class Committee Elections
Senior year is a tough threshold to cross everywhere across the world. Like countless other seniors, you are now preparing to leave behind a well-protected world to venture out into the unknown. During this time, you will not only try to wave everyone goodbye, but also try to maintain your relations and build new ones in the meanwhile. Your feelings and your reason, your plans and your memories will become intertwined.
As a member of SU Community that is directly influenced by the institutional reputation of Sabancı University, you as the Graduation Class have the right to follow up developments within the university closely. The Graduation Class Committee (GCC) will continue to represent you at the university in the years to come, help you receive regular information about the development of the university, and enable you to make suggestions and contributions that will maintain and add to the value of your diploma.
What will the GCC do in the current and future years?
- Take active part in the Graduation Class Committee for the organisation of the commencement.
- Prepare and distribute the Commencement Magazine to the class of 2009.
- Select the graduate who will deliver a speech on behalf of the graduation class at the commencement ceremony.
- Complete the procedures for selecting conference speaker candidates of whom will deliver a speech at the end of the ceremony.
- Lead the organisations of reunions in five-year intervals and promote widespread participation of 2009 graduates.
